Offa's Dyke Rifle Club (Established 1992 - SJ Clark)
Membership - Club membership runs from January 1st to December 31st each year.
The annual fee is now £90.00. However, for those joining round the half year period etc., a fee of £50.00 will apply, or on a sliding scale, until end of December. A renewal fee of £90.00 (or the amount in place at the time) will then be required for the following year. For other members of same Family at same Address, a fee of £70.00/yr. will apply (again on a sliding scale), as shooting is a participatory sport suitable for involving all the family. (Ages from 14yrs upward) Offa's Dyke RC promotes family involvement when ever possible.
If you intend renewing your membership, please complete a RENEWAL FORM & forward with your subscription, along with your ID Badge for signing, (less clip) and any relevant update on your details. (This should also include any changes to your FAC and Firearms/ammunition acquired etc.) Please make Cheques payable to : Offa's Dyke Rifle Club and send to the Membership Secretary. (Address on Renewal form), along with Subs.

As a Home Office approved club, we are able to accept applications from people who do not hold a Firearms Certificate. Being a responsible club, we make every effort to ensure that our prospective members are fit and proper people to hold a Firearm Certificate and our application procedure will necessarily involve some questions to help us verify that. (All in accordance with currant Firearms Legislation) A Probationary Membership and accredited training program will apply, until you are considered competent for Full membership, with free use of Club Firearms for your training etc., paying only for the ammunition used.
You will then be able to apply for your own Firearms certificate if you wish, with help on the procedures involved, being available.
It will also be necessary to have a Safe Shooter assessment done by the Club and be issued with a Safe Shooter Card, assuming all goes well. This is a Mandatory requirement for all who shoot on MOD Ranges & can only be available to Full Members of the club.
A new system via the NRA is to be introduced for 2019, as all present cards will expire at end of December 2018. Please see details below & the Revised Membership Renewal Form.
The NEW system will involve the club you are a member of, passing your name & address etc., along with the type of firearms to be used, along with a current PP Photo, to the NRA. They will then issue your Safe Shooter Card direct to the club member. All this with your written consent, in order to comply with Data Protection.
This is very important, as if you do not comply, you will not be able to shoot unsupervised on MOD Ranges in the UK. This has to be done by end of 2018.
